After Eli Blake’s viral video “Big Girl/Big Heart” shoots him right to the top of the charts, he rises to fame shamelessly tapping into this niche. Because of his striking good looks, all his faithful groupies want desperately to believe every word he sings, like he’s not another run-of-the-mill superficial jerk.

One little wrinkle. He totally is.

After a vindictive ex goes public that he secretly hates fat chicks, Eli must find a full-figured decoy pronto. Obviously the only way to save his rocketing career before it collapses under the weight of one lie is telling an even bigger one. Enter voluptuous Carly Reynolds, his agent’s assistant, who knows what kind of arrogant fake he is and can’t stand him as a result.

Still, a girl’s gotta eat, and it’s not every day you get a million bucks for telling one teeny tiny fib. Surely she can handle this lying, philandering opportunist for a year. It’s not like she’ll actually fall for the guy.

Or will she?

In GLITTER ON THE WEB, Ginger Voight returns her readers to the fabulous world of the rich and the famous, with all the delicious complications that entails. One ordinary girl is forced to go for broke and risk it all, and maybe…just maybe… find something real in one beautifully tangled web of deception.

I give this book 4 stars!

I liked the h Carly and the H Eli not so much in this book, I think I would have liked him more if he had his own pov as to me he seemed more fake than genuine as it looked like he was constantly playing it up for the camera especially when she hurts her ankle.

I liked reading Carly’s inner thoughts especially when she gets roped into being his fake girlfriend for the press,
I found this book funny and I liked how strong Carly was, I did think that Eli genuinely had a phobia against larger woman as there was nothing to prove that he wasn’t especially as he always bypassed her whenever she was working.
I liked her friends including Caz, the smooth talking casanova who in a way I was hoping Carly would get with lol but I liked seeing how he was constantly there for her as a friend.
Eli I thought was more genuine when it came to his little sister and it did warm me a little towards him and it made me understand the way he was because of his family, I didn’t like how he was self centered and when he couldn’t get his own way he would be childish, I didn’t like how he went with another woman and his career didn’t get affected by it which is the only reason why he is pretending to be with Carly in the first place to make him and his career look good, yet she has to sign a contract saying she couldn’t stray.
The ending I did like but I would have liked to have known whether he was just playing with Carly’s friend and keeping her around until the time was right or if she was actually helping him because throughout the book they would constantly flirt with each other but aside from that the ending made me happy but I would have liked an epilogue as I would have liked to have read more about them.
